Hi Bruce,

Great examples in building trust and their importance in our lives. I love your quote, “Trust actually creates the flow of life unhindered by bitterness and hurt feelings.”

I think that trust must be built before the love in our intimate relationships. And in business, how can you partner or interact with others if the trust is lacking? You’ve narrowed down the first requirement of our important, personal and professional relationships.

Thanks for the analogy. As a father, it tugged at my heart-strings a bit too. I like your list of things to do.
Bottom line is you have to have involvement and be a giver. Those are two nuggets I’m taking with me.

Thanks Steve and Terry! Terry…you make a great point…learning to trust yourself may be even harder than trusting others. I have definitely been there as well!

Steve…I think with all of the technology…we need to pay extra attention to the human connection to build trust…great point as well!

Great post man.

Everything human is based on trust. From driving a car (trusting the other person will stay in their lane), to going to the dentist(trusting that their #1 concern is your health), to every relationships.

Some people do a disconnect when they go online. Some how they think they can take and not give or take the time to build quality relationships.

The results of their trust-worthiness becomes self evident very quickly. People can pick up on that pretty quickly I think.

Having said that, I think one of my biggest lessons in business was to trust myself. LOL!

Anyone else experience that?

Hi Bruce,

I never get tired of reading posts on the value of trust. I have seen a lot of posts on trust lately, myself included, and I know it is because so many people are tired of being “burned” in business and in life. I never realized how much junk is really out there on line until I put myself out there.

Trust and integrity must be part of who you are or success will never truly be achieved.
